Unfortunately the weather was bad today so I tried to eat the Yufu-Clear-Water-Rice in my room.
These are the four items we will be using in this series.
・3-way drainer bowl 23.5 cm, made in Japan
・HARIO glass-top rice cooker, 1-2 cups, made in Japan
・Iwatani Cassette Fu Outdoor Stove Tafumaru CB-ODX-1
・Measuring cup

Put one cup of Yufu-Clear-Water-Rice in a bowl.

Wash the rice and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
Adjust the soaking time according to the season and rice polish.

Put it in a glass-top rice cooker.

Add 1 cup of water and heat over medium heat, and when the water comes to a boil, turn off the heat for about 10 minutes.

This time the lid is clear so you can see inside, but the bubbles are buzzing!

Let it steam for about 10 minutes.

The rice is ready!

Today I’m going to have three delicious items: dried plum, grilled seaweed and kimchi!

Dried plums are “Hou no Kaori Umeboshi”, 300g.
They are pickled with perilla and salt, and sent directly from Oyama-cho, Oita.

Wow, I devoured it!
Thank you for the delicious meal!
